Some examples of Flexcement versatility include the following applications: - Fireplaces, foundation walls, chimneys, retaining walls, showers, archways, columns, lintels, and stairways. The system includes both horizontal and vertical overlay systems that require minimal preparatory work compared to modern products currently available. There are no requirements for sandblasting, acid etching, or scarifying of existing surfaces. The system reduces the labor-intensive prep work necessary for other systems. Flexcement applied On Site Flexcement applicators install the product directly onto existing surfaces. It can be applied over concrete, masonry, tile, painted surfaces, drywall, Styrofoam board, and wooden surfaces. Installation requires application of Flexcement exclusive Primer, followed by application of the Modifier enhanced dry mix as a finish, or stamp coat.
